It just wouldn’t be a Death Becomes Them party without the Pin-Ups!

Throwing back an ode to retro horror and suspense classics and celebrating vintage vibes(not values) is one of our producer Betty’s favorite parts of Death Becomes Them. The Killer Queen Pin-up Contest for the dark and sexy, fierce and freaky styles of Pin-up has become a beloved event amongst pin-up enthusiasts who also embrace the strange and unusual side of life. And with two of the best pin-up professionals in the industry along for the ride, you know this year’s contest is going to be out of this world.

Joining us for a third time as our pin-up sponsor is Hibiscus Belle Vintage & Retro with Belle herself helping coordinate the event! Hibiscus Belle Vintage & Retro based in Winter Haven Florida sells hand-picked vintage, retro and pre-loved, handmade and upcycled, carefully curated, fashion and accessories for all genders. What sets Hibiscus Belle apart is that they specialize in sourcing sustainable fashion specifically for alternative aesthetics. For our event, Belle will curate a collection with items under the Old Hollywood Femme Fatale, Fetish Wear, Festival and Fantasy aesthetics. That’s right, there’s going to be a pop up shop on sight during the show!

Deeply rooted in the pin-up community, Belle uses her platform to inspire confidence while advocating for equality, LGBTQ+ visibility, sobriety, and recovery. She is also the founder of Vintage Glamour Academy, which she created to put together events and classes where vintage lovers can connect while learning new skills and having fun.

Which leads us to our second BIG pin-up sponsor announcement. Back by popular demand is Lady Goldmoon! Lady Gold Moon, or Goldie for many of us is an event producer, photographer & magazine publisher known for bringing out the beautiful side of the goth girl life. This old school New York Goth that now resides in beautiful sunny South Florida is a pinup model turned full blown boss babe who owns and operates Dream Beauty Lab, a combination of glam services and retro portrait photography as well as the newest avant-garde/gothic/fetish/weird publication, Strangeland Magazine  Goldie is an advocate for female empowerment and loves to prove that vintage beauty and true sex appeal doesn’t have to be cookie cutter or vanilla at all.

Entrants will participate in a digital pinup contest with the top five finalists taking the stage of the Cuban Club to compete for the Crown(s). Contest entry includes a reserved seat and gift bag at the show, as well as participation in the Necronomicon Tampa Pinup Calendar! The Killer Queen, as well as her first and second runners up, will be invited to represent Death Becomes Them during NecronomiCon Game Days, and our Killer Queen will be honored with the role of stage kitten during the Necro After Dark Burlesque show at Necronomicon Tampa 2026! What’s more, a fan favorite winner will be chosen by donations received, with proceeds benefitting the Southeast's oldest, fan-run, nonprofit convention night party, by the naughty and nerdy, Necro After Dark!

• $45 entry fee includes a reserved seat at the show on 03/13/2026

• Plus one and additional guests will need to purchase a regular price ticket.

• Digital contest with entry deadline of 02/06/2026.

• The top five will be chosen to compete for the crown during the live show.

• All entrants will be invited to participate in Necronomicon Tampa 2027 Pin-up Calendar that will be available at Necro After Dark 2026 with shoots scheduled this spring and summer.

• Pre orders for the calendar will be available at Southern Media Con and Game days in June.

• The printed calendar will be available at the Convention in September.
